Andy Aubertine -I- Krystin Draper Rose -I- S. Michael Rose Andrew Aubertine
Andy began his career as a deputy district attorney, where he tried felony and misdemeanor criminal cases for almost six years. For the next thirteen years, he was as an assistant attorney general where he served four Attorneys General as Oregon's lead antitrust attorney. He was advisor to the Attorneys General on the Department's antitrust policies, and he provided legal advice on antitrust issues to Oregon state agencies and the Oregon Legislature. He also managed the Department's antitrust investigations, litigation efforts and merger reviews, served as co-lead counsel in several national cases, and conducted training and education classes for state assistant attorneys general around the country. He started his own firm in 2003, expanding his practice areas to include representing businesses in transactional and litigation matters, and representing individuals in Oregon election law matters. He has used this experience in representing individuals and businesses, state attorneys general around the country, the National Association of Attorneys General, and as plaintiffs' counsel in complex class action cases. Andy has been a high school mock trial instructor through the Oregon State Bar Classroom Law Project for 13 years. He is a past chair of the Oregon State Bar Antitrust and Trade Regulation Section, and he currently serves as an executive committee member of that section. He regularly gives speeches and legal education presentations on state and federal antitrust law and working with government agencies.
